LUMI is a pre-exascale supercomputer and currently the most powerful system in Europe. The Netherlands is a member of the LUMI consortium and SURF provides Dutch researchers access to LUMI, allowing them to run their scientific applications at unprecedented scale.
The EuroHPC supercomputer LUMI is the fastest supercomputer in Europe available to Dutch researchers. In this presentation we will provide an overview of the system, its capacity and capabilities and the opportunities it brings. We will describe how researchers in The Netherlands can apply for compute time on LUMI, which projects are eligible to apply and what type of support SURF offers.
