In many emerging National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), research outputs exist but lack persistent identifiers, interoperability, and structured integration into global infrastructures. Without DOIs, ORCID adoption, institutional identifiers, and connected repositories, visibility, citation tracking, and impact measurement remain limited.
This session demonstrates how you can build a sustainable PID culture within an emerging NREN, even in environments with constrained resources and evolving digital policies.
