DESCRIPTION:The Dutch National pilot within the OSTrails project explores h
 ow machine actionable data management plans (maDMPs) can support researche
 rs and research institutions in keeping knowledge connected. In the presen
 tation we discuss the three pillars in this European project: planning (th
 rough DMPs)\, tracking (through Scientific Knowledge Graphs)\, and assessi
 ng (through FAIR assessment). In our national pilot we support the plannin
 g and tracking phases through a RAiD supported workflow. RAiD\, the resear
 ch activity identifier\, acts as a PID for projects but at the same time a
 s an envelope that links to other PIDs such as funding (GrantID)\, project
  members (ORCIDs)\, and research outputs (DOIs). By integrating maDMPs wit
 h RAiD\, we aim to make open research information an integral part of the 
 research process\, with an emphasis on the start-up phase.
