DESCRIPTION:How can you help students with autism overcome their biggest ob
 stacles? Virtual reality (VR) may offer a solution. In this session\, you 
 will learn about an international project that is developing innovative VR
  training for vocational students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). \n\
 nThe training offers a safe\, realistic and repeatable environment in whic
 h students can practise their social communication skills in group convers
 ations. The aim is to strengthen their participation in education and thei
 r future position in the labour market.\n\nThe project partners are Zuyd U
 niversity of Applied Sciences (higher professional education)\, UCLL (Univ
 ersity Colleges Leuven-Limburg\; higher professional education) and VISTA 
 College (vocational education). Together\, these partners form a practice-
 oriented\, interdisciplinary consortium through Erasmus+ that focuses on i
 nnovation\, inclusion and future-proof education.
