Looking for technology to support open educational resources (OER)? Then make sure to join this session by edu-sharing.net! You’ll get to know about their automation technologies for working with educational content. Examples are crawlers, metadata generators, and adaptive topic pages.
You’ll also find out about a community-based workflow that transforms OER collections into machine-readable knowledge structures, enabling the training of AI systems and the generation of AI-based educational content.
As a non-profit organisation, edu-sharing.net develops open source infrastructure solutions that support open educational resources (OER) across all educational sectors in Germany. This presentation highlights key technologies and workflows for the automated harvesting, management, quality assurance and dissemination of educational resources—including generic crawlers, metadata generators, automated quality checks, and adaptive topic pages tailored to specific audiences.
Additionally, the presentation shows a community-based workflow to turn OER collections into machine-readable knowledge structures. This makes it possible to train and validate AI systems as well as to power AI-generated educational content.
Last but not least you’ll see results from a project funded by the German ministry that aims to enhance OER infrastructures through a series of idea competitions and hackathons.
