In 2020 the Digivisio 2030 programme was launched in Finland by all the 38 HEI’s in Finland. The goal of the program is to create a national digital service platform that enables the compatibility of digital services between higher education institutions, offers the learner a my data service, and integrates the accumulation of data for the support of the learner's learning path, and enhances the compatibility of actors' information management systems and lowers the threshold for utilizing national solutions.
This presentation will familiarize the audience with the first national service that Digivisio has developed has been the Opin.fi service, that brings together the open learning opportunities from Finnish HEI’s. The platform can serve as a bases for the creation of many other services in the future; services that can support the student or the HEI. In the future, if the HEI’s decide to do so, the platform can also form a basis for a much wider ecosystem of actors, that can build new services related to e.g. education, working life or other fields related to education professional development or the job market. In this presentation we will describe the creation of the platform, the first service (Opin.fi) and future possibilities.
