How can an educational institution work towards AI literacy without it remaining limited to isolated initiatives and individual experiments? In this Pecha Kucha, you’ll be introduced to the AI-GO Ecosystem: a cohesive framework comprising three components for implementing AI literacy in education. You’ll discover how the AI-GO framework, AI-GO in Action and the AI-GO game reinforce one another and together form a practical approach for educational institutions.
The AI-GO Framework provides a conceptual framework for positioning AI literacy within vision, curriculum, professional development and organisational development. It helps you to approach AI literacy as a joint endeavour involving teaching teams and study programmes.
AI-GO in Action presents a cyclical, eight-step approach to getting started with the framework. This enables you to work in a targeted manner on designing, implementing, evaluating and embedding AI literacy within your programme.
The AI-GO Game is an interactive activity that supports teaching teams in discussing AI in education. The game highlights choices, dilemmas and priorities, and encourages dialogue, reflection and joint decision-making.
After this presentation:
• You will have an understanding of the relationship between the AI-GO framework, AI-GO in Action and the AI-GO Game.
• You will understand how to systematically develop AI literacy at team and programme level.
• You will see how teaching teams can use the discussion about AI to make joint decisions.
This session is intended for education professionals, such as teachers, team leaders, curriculum developers and policy officers, who are working on the development and implementation of AI literacy.
Implementing AI literacy requires a coherent approach at individual, team and organisational levels. The AI-GO Ecosystem provides practical guidance in this regard.
