Finding trustworthy RDM resources should not be a treasure hunt, searching high and low to find community-endorsed standards or reliable recommendations. In this session, you will be shown the map to some of the hidden gems of the Research Data Alliance (RDA), as well as how to find even more on your own. Some gems you will uncover in this session? Catalogs of metadata standards informed by community discussion and guidance; case studies for research software policies to adapt; workflows for data publishing; recommendations for improving data discoverability -- every part of the research data life cycle is covered. You will leave this session with some RDM gems as well as the know-how to uncover even more.
