Co-creatie in het hoger onderwijs is een waardevolle pedagogische methode om de kloof tussen leren en werken voor studenten te verkleinen, een noodzakelijke aanvulling op de professionalisering van docenten en het biedt suggesties voor oplossingen voor problemen waar het werkveld mee te maken heeft. Curricula moeten worden afgestemd op de professionele wereld en adaptief blijven voor de implementatie van veranderingen. Co-creatie zal deze afstemming oproepen en curricula verder stimuleren om actueel te blijven, wat belangrijk is gezien de toenemende snelheid waarmee kennis veroudert in deze VUCA-wereld.
De kans dat co-creatie effectief leidt, wordt vergroot door het proces goed te faciliteren. In deze workshop leren deelnemers over de kenmerken van goede facilitators, activiteiten die de facilitator kan initiëren om het co-creatieproces te begeleiden en om te waken over gelijkwaardige bijdragen van elk van de deelnemers. Deelnemers ervaren verschillende werkmethoden om co-creatie te faciliteren. Verder zullen deelnemers reflecteren op hun competenties als facilitator met behulp van een reflectietool die we hebben ontwikkeld in onze co-creatie onderzoeksgroep. We zullen informatie geven over de verschillende fasen van co-creatie, en hoe divergeren, omkeren en convergeren in elke fase de gezamenlijke zoektocht naar oplossingen voor vraagstukken uit het werkveld zal ondersteunen. Co-creatie zoals wij voorstellen, kan worden geïmplementeerd in elk beroeps- of hoger onderwijsprogramma.

Co-creation in Higher Education is a valuable pedagogic method to diminish the gap between learning and working for students, a necessary addition to the professionalization of teachers and it provides suggestions for solutions for problems that the professional field is dealing with. Curricula need to be aligned with the professional world and remain adaptive for the implementation of changes. Co-creation will evoke this alignment and further encourage curricula to stay current, which is important given the increasing rate at which knowledge becomes obsolete in this VUCA world.
The chances for effective co-creation leading are enlarged by good facilitation of the process. In this workshop, participants will learn about the characteristics of good facilitators, activities the facilitator can initiate in order to guide the co-creation process and to guard equitable contributions of each of the participants. Participants will experience different working methods to facilitate co-creation. Furthermore, participants will reflect on your competencies as a facilitator using a reflection tool we developed in our co-creation research group. We will provide information about the different phases of co-creation, and how diverging, reverging and converging in each phase will support the collaborative search for solutions for issues arising from the professional field. Co-creation as we propose, can be implemented in any vocational or higher educational programme.
