University of Glasgow is one of the oldest universities in the UK and in the world. With buildings dating from the 1500's, late 19th century through early and mid-20th century and now with 5 new modern buildings, the journey from traditional learning environments to creating modern inclusive spaces was the University's biggest undertaking in recent years.

During this session Karen Lee, Director of Strategy, Performance and Transformation at University of Glasgow and Georgeta Macovei, Steelcase Consultant will be sharing what were the challenges the university wanted to solve, how they approached this and what the learnings are so far. The shift from traditional to active, and from analog to digital is an ongoing journey and through this session we aim to share what worked for the University of Glasgow and what are the next steps.
